I am a Research Scientist at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
My research focuses on modeling and optimization of complex systems using mathematical programming methodologies. I am driven by deep improvement and by the search for the global optimum.
I have special research interests in renewable energy systems and process systems problems related to chemical engineering (more details here).
I have a long experience on optimization, modeling, and implementation of decomposition algorithms in the modeling system GAMS.
